Special offer to Yellow Book customers. Print out this coupon for 25% off framing. Up to $150 off any custom frame.

After a lifetime of collecting for the pure joy of it, Dan and Carole Kavanaugh have been offering a wide variety of quality fine art to the general public, the corporate community and collectors as a labor of love since 1989. They pride themselves on having the sort of extraordinary fine arts gallery that you might expect to find on one of the coasts nestled in the heart of Iowa.

Kavanaugh Gallery has a world-class collection of fine art from around the globe with none of the overhead often associated with other locales. In addition to our personal service, perhaps that's one reason why so many of our customers contact us from all across the country for their art purchases. We are almost always able to ship free for our larger items and typically charge only the cost of postage for even modest purchases. You may have seen it in Vegas or Hawaii, San Francisco or New York, Santa Fe or Singapore, London or Palm Springs, but when it comes time to purchase that special piece of art by an artist with whom you have fallen in love, we hope you'll want to actually get it from us!

The 6500 square foot Gallery and nearby corporate gallery are both located along Gallery Row in the historic Valley Junction shopping district in the "old town" section of West Des Moines, Iowa, a community that has seen meteoric growth in the last two decades. Kavanaugh Art Gallery carries investment quality original paintings in oil, acrylic, watercolor, pastel and mixed media. The Gallery has an extensive selection of sculpture, including one-of-a-kind mobiles. Kavanaugh Art Gallery is also home to many fine limited edition prints, Giclées, and serigraphs, as well as antique and reproduction prints and posters, including early works on paper.

Kavanaugh Art Gallery maintains an inventory of some 4000 fine art pieces, including over 150 stationary and kinetic sculptures in bronze, wood and stone. The Gallery and its experienced staff assist, recommend and consult both in-home and on-premises whenever or wherever needed or desired. Kavanaugh Art Gallery provides complete fine art services, including appraisals, restoration, conservation framing, installation and lighting, and other services as requested by our clientele.

We also specialize in the purchase and sale of estate art collections and in acquiring artwork for our Gallery's customers. Our clients have learned over the years that if we do not have it -- and we probably do -- we can certainly get it. We routinely participate in art auctions throughout the country and carry works from some of the world's finest artists. Museum quality framing is our specialty and is done on-site.

Our location makes us uniquely and easily accessible from both Interstate 35 and Interstate 80 and our clientele includes many collectors who routinely make the trip from out-of-state to visit our collection in person. We professionally ship anywhere in the world, and children are always welcome (we'll even set them up with crayons so that they can create a work of art while you browse our collection at your leisure).

We invite you stop in and see why Kavanaugh Art Gallery is Iowa's premiere fine arts gallery, share in our passion for fine art, and experience for yourself one of the best kept open secrets in the art community!
