SANG LEE - Sang Lee was born in Seoul, Korea, in 1949.

Lee's family lived in a small town outside Seoul for the majority of his childhood. He attended the University of Seoul from 1968-1972.

In 1975 he became a full time artist, and quickly gained both popularity, and critical acclaim as a seascape painter in Korea.

He won the most prestigious prize for painting in Korea, and had individual exhibitions of his painting.

In 1989 he moved to The United States. In recent years his paintings have become increasingly popular on the American market as well.
