Alfredo Gisbert was born in Alcoy, Alicante in the
year of 1950. Gisbert first studied painting at the
Escuela de Artes y Oficios de Alcoy. With
completion of this preparation he continued his
studies several years later at the School of San
Carlos de Valencia.
There is great texture and movement in his artistic
formation, states D. Edmundo Jorda, professor of
the Industrial School. Gisbert has studied as a pupil of Emilio Sala and
Fernando Cabrera.
Alfredo Gisbert holds to a group of painters disciplines, which have been
separated by his own will to fly above natural
tendencies, taught by the schools that he
attended. His goal is to fight for the vanguard,
leaving remains of sincerity in each new
fashion that he creates.
Gisbert’s work is held in numerous
private collections.
